Alien Detector, the: 1:1:10.2. A device in Honor Guard headquarters (1995), calibrated to recognize extra-terrestrials.
Bridwell: 1:5:1. Alien spy, scouting for an eventual invasion of Earth. Sends the signal to start the invasion in 1:5:24.3. Bridwell is a reference to E. Nelson Bridwell, long time DC editor and Superman writer.
Bridwells, the: 1:5:10.1, An alien race of insect-like creatures They have a matriarchal society with the women as warriors. Named after Bridwell. (qv)
Closet, The: 1:1:17.4. Evidently an extradimensional storage space, where Samaritan stores his trophies. Possibly the Closet is some sort of microverse.
Has microspore buildup.
Dimensional Aperstomum: 2:2:18.4 Empyrean Web: 1:1:19.3, etc. Samaritan's projected force field.
Enelsians: 2:9:4. The race of aliens better known as the Bridwells. [Both their names are references to E. Nelson Bridwell, longtime Superman writer/editor.]
Family 1: 2:2:9.1,6 The First Family's airplane, it's capable of morphing itself into several different shapes.
Gnomes: 1:1:10.1. On 8 Aug 95, Cleopatra II reports "gnomes massing in the mountains."
Helia: 2:1:20. Goddes(?)and wife of Thunderhead (qv), who was kidnapped by persons unknown in order to manipulate her husband into destroying Astro City. She seems to have a calming influence on Thunderhead.
Insiders, the: 2:3:13.1. A race of lava men. Their leader is Lord Volcanus.
Magna Palace, the: 2:3:13.1. The dwelling place of Lord Volcanus, it is a hollow mountain with terrace like structures on the inside. It's looks are Mayan inspired.
Mentoverse: 2:2:10.1. An alternate dimension used by the Silver Brain (qv). Inhabited by the Freshmakers.
Microspore: 1:1:17.4. Buildup material, apparently like dust, in the Closet.
Night Creatures 1:4:1.5., Sort of Lovecraftian demonfigures, found in Shadow Hill.
OMNIAC: 2:3:10.1. A Kirby-esque piece of machinery being rebuilt by Praetor (qv) when the First Family barged in looking for Astra.
Power Pyramid: 1:2:15.3. A spell cast by Cleopatra I.
Prochnow, Dr.: 1:1:20.4. Someone whom Samaritan plans to consult about the Living Nightmare.
Scavenger people, the: 1:5:2. A subterran race who sent "a being of mechanics, earth and stone" to attack Astro City. NAI
Sea Blaze: 1:1:14.2. A ship sunk off the Florida coast in 1665. Raised by Samaritan on 8 Aug 95.
Thunderhead: 2:1:8. A cosmic entity, possibilly an ancient weathergod, responsible for the destruction of Draketown, Alaska in 1995. He threatened to destroy Astro City if his wife, Helia (qv), was returned to him; he believed the people of Astro City had "stolen her, but was in fact manipulated by unknown persons to believe that.
Tourist: 1:1:10.5. "Extraterrestrial gadabout." Friend of Beautie.
Uranium: 2:2:1.5 Astra Furst's pet fish.
Wasting, the: 2:11:12.5, 2:11:17.2. Something disastrous happening sometime in the future, thought to be stopped by Jack-In-The-Box and the Irregulars. NAI
Zonn: 1:1:10.2. Presumably an alien race who attacked Earth (before 1995).
